Prof Kasi Reddy Venkat Reddy is a scholar in Telugu literature and served as Head of Department, Telugu literature, Osmania University. He has over 40 years of teaching experience and guided over 24 PhD’s and 14 M.Phils. He has extensive research experience in Telugu folk literature, folk performing arts and riddles. He has published over 140 books including 20 books in Telugu folk literature and 9 translations from Hindi to Telugu. Acharya Venkat Reddy has also edited over 34 books and special issues and has been conferred with 24 awards in Telugu literature.
