பிரபஞ்சனின் இருபது கதைகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து வெளிவரும் இத்தொகுப்புக்காக அவரின் நூற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கதைகளை ஒருசேர வாசித்தேன். அந்த அனுபவம் மானாவாரி வேளாண்மை செழித்திருக்கும் பரந்த நிலங்களுக்குள் விடிகாலை வேளையில் காலோயச் சுற்றிவந்ததைப் போலிருந்தது. ஈரம் என் கால்களில் ஏறி உடம்பு முழுவதற்கும் பரவிற்று. ஈரம் என்பது அன்பு, கருணை, நம்பிக்கை, தியாகம், உதவி, பற்று உள்ளிட்ட நல்லியல்புகள் அனைத்துக்கும் பொருந்தும். செழித்த கதிர்களில் விருப்பத்திற்கு உட்பட்டும் விதவிதமானவற்றை ருசித்துப் பார்க்கும் வேட்கையினாலும் நேர்த்தியின் ஈர்ப்பாலும் சிலவற்றைத் தேர்வு செய்து பசியாறும் சிட்டுக்குருவியாகச் செயல்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
According to Prabhanjan, humans are immense. Everyone will be virtuous when the conditions are right. It is important to create such an environment and Prabhanjan does exactly that. He eagerly places before us, the emergence of human characteristics in them. This is how the artist expresses his love and trust in the world.
For this collection, I read more than a hundred of his short stories and have selected twenty. The experience of it was like circling the gale in the early morning into the vast lands where rain-fed agriculture flourished. Moisture climbed to my feet and spread throughout the body.
