“Book Descriptions: Mohit was tired and soon dozed off. It was past midnight when he was awakened by muffled sounds. They were coming from the garden. He lay quietly and listened, just to be sure. Then he got up and peered through the window of his first-floor bedroom. In the moonlight, he could see some movement and a hazy outline.

Is it an animal, some stray dog, which has jumped over the fence? Mohit paced the room, returning to the window.
Should I go or not go? Should I wake up Mama? No, that would be a disaster.
Finally, mustering some courage, Mohit decided to investigate, and he prayed.
