Alice was a distributing sensation, darling by youngsters and grown-ups the same. Among its most memorable ardent perusers were Queen Victoria and the youthful Oscar Wilde. The book has never been no longer available. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has been converted into no less than 174 dialects. There have now been north of 100 English-language versions of the book, as well as endless variations in different media, particularly theater and film.
