A record of the time when we were separated, from the day the Earth stood still, to the day we finally rejoiced in our reunion.
A few years ago, just a few days before spring, the whole world came to a screeching halt. Plans for the BTS world tour dissolved in an instant. The members who were unexpectedly grounded were given time to reflect on themselves. They settled their unease and took portraits under the theme, "myself." They contemplated their day-to-day lives for the first time since their debut—taking photographs depicting a day in their lives as well as their personal tastes, or going on interviews to share updates and thoughts. While they slowly adapted to change, they knew that the stage was where they truly belong. And they wondered if things would ever return to normal again.
But BTS lifted their own spirits and got back on their feet. The same year, they dropped the song of the summer entitled "Dynamite," and comforted their contemporaries with "Life Goes On." They came out with "Butter" and "Permission to Dance" the following year and were finally reunited with their fans at the end
of that same vear-just as they'd dreamt in the many nights leading up to that moment. The reunion was all the more glorious as it was a long-awaited one. They
told us that they'd be away for a short while with "Yet to Come." and promised us of a new beginning with "Take Two." Now, they are waiting for the day that all
seven members get to see the fans in person and sing together.
This documentary photobook contains over 600 pages of raw and gritty photographs throughout this phase of BTS' lives. It shows BTS in their natural habitat—during their day-to-day, on the sites of various photoshoots, and behind the stage, as well as capturing moments of the members' struggles, passion, and joy surrounding music and performances. Discover new and unfamiliar sides to the members. These unprocessed photos offer us a glimpse into perhaps the most lively and animated side of BTS.
The photobook also includes interviews of the members about their thoughts on performing, their love for ARMY and for each other, as well as candid takes about what they'd learned about themselves throughout their journey.
