BOOK 1: DEAD MAN WALKING
After a break in at a bank, Scotland Yard’s top team is brought into investigate. DS Richard Sherrey heads up the case, with DS Johnny Inch and Old Etonian DS Humphrey Nicodemus. Johnny is a bit of maverick and decides to take matters into his own hands. He uses his shady connections to sound out the suspects. And soon he’s sure he knows who the perpetrator is. But then his suspect turns up dead.
BOOK 2: TIGHT CIRCLE
SIN, Scotland Yard's top crime-busting team — so-called because of the initials of its oddly assorted members. They are called in to investigate a bank robbery. But Nicodemus is implicated in the raid, suspected of turning off the alarm when he went in for an overdraft. The burglary looks to have been masterminded by the renowned criminal Tom Minter. But he has a solid alibi.
BOOK 3: DEAD LETTER DAY
Johnny is now an ex-copper with some dodgy clients. Dying ex-convict Martin Slade’s final wish is to hurt the four people he hates most in the world. He arranges to have four letters posted after his death, each containing part of a clue to the location of stolen gold bullion.
BOOK 4: DEATH MASK
Private detective Johnny Inch is invited to a fancy-dress party at Abstock Hall. He looks forward to an evening of good food, fine wine and harmless flirtations. But play soon turns into work as the night takes a sinister turn. Witnessing a violent car bomb explosion, Johnny is flung headlong into a dangerous murder investigation.

BOOK 5: ARTHUR’S NIGHT
One fateful night, while on a business trip, James Connor picks up a flirtatious young woman in a hotel bar. Three days later he is arrested for her murder. The woman has been found strangled in a ditch outside her house, inches away from where Connor had dropped her off the night before. All the evidence points to him.
BOOK 6: SWALLOW THEM UP
Intrigued by an invitation from a man named Oxley, Annabel and Robin venture out to Wales to an eerie island castle. The guests include the gorgeous Peter Garside, his cousin Fiona Trayle and her fiancée, Doctor Adola and a married couple named Farrington. There’s also the Doolan family who live and work at the castle. Oxley informs them that he intends to exact retribution.
BOOK 7: DEATH ON A SUNDAY MORNING
A bank in a country town is robbed in the dead of night, and a couple left cruelly locked inside the vault. Meanwhile, in a small village, a car explodes into smithereens. The two passengers are violently killed, as well as an innocent passer-by. In another village, a woman is kidnapped from her beautiful house, and found strangled to death. The police begin to realise that these deaths are linked.”
