Set during, and in the inevitable aftermath of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine this short story follows a small band of Marines from the Ukrainian Naval Infantry Corps, as they head to Bucha. Driven by a desperate desire to reach their families, the soldiers lives are changed forever following a tragic encounter with a Russian infantry platoon and its brutal Corporal.
